Art Adventure at BenCab Museum

If you ever come to Baguio City and interested in arts / painting / carvings I suggest you visit the BenCab MuseumBenedicto Reyes Cabrera or simply called BenCab is a graduate of Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines and was named as a National Artist for Visual Arts last 2006. If you want to know more about his life you can simply visit his website at bencabmuseum.org .

Entering his museum for general public has a fee of Php100.00 and Php80.00 for students. How to get to his museum, if you have a car it is just 15 minute drive from the city proper or you can ride a jeepney from the terminal near the Baguio market going to Asin Road and other option is just ride a Taxi and ask the driver to take you to BenCab Museum.

I simply admire his work and what he did to his museum, it’s like a paradise of arts. Every floor, every corner exhibits different arts but what attracts me most is the view of the outside and what he did to his garden. View inside and out of the BenCab museum. Enjoy the tour!

This one is just a portion of an art. It is actually bottles of Ginebra gins and created into an art. I will just leave it as ease so you will be curious on what this art is made into. I admire the patience and creativity on what he did on this piece of art. So if you want to know what this is, better visit the BenCab Museum if your in Baguio City.

  2. I like the art. Saan banda to sa Baguio? I haven’t visited this museum. Interesting pieces of artwork ang meron dun ha. at medyo unconventional. I’ll be visiting this on November when I come back. 🙂

    1. Zen, if you go by car ask where ASIN Road is. Or if you will go by taxi just tell the driver to take you to the BenCab Museum. Around 15 mins away from the main city.
